Kawasaki is undoubtedly one of the most popular motorcycle brands in the world. The company manufactures motorcycles from various plants - including ones in Indonesia, USA and Japan - and even has its own engines division based in Michigan. Kawasaki is owned by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and has produced well-known motorcycle models like the EX650C, The Vulcan 1500, and the Ninja 750R. One of the most popular motorcycle models manufactured by Kawasaki, however, is the ZX-6R Ninja, which was first introduced in 1995. With only 400 miles on a recent rebuild, this is an excellent example of an Austin Healey 3000! This 1965 big Healey has spent most of its life out in California being well maintained and driven in fair weather only.
In 2008, this 1965 Austin Healey MKIII went into a reputable restoration shop in California where the car would spend the next year being meticulously looked over and corrected to bring it back to its former glory. The interior was gone through and brought back to the way that jaw dropping blue interior looked the day it left the factory. A checklist was made to go over the drive train and all components on the car that needed and were then fixed one by one making the finish product as beautiful is it is today. The car was then purchased and transported here to Denver where it was enjoyed and shown off on occasion. In June of 2017, the owner decided to bring it back into the shop for to have the engine completely rebuilt.
During the process each step was notated on what work was accomplished and changed; after just over 130 hours and almost $14,000 later, the engine was reinstalled and runs like a sewing machine! Driving this Austin Healey 3000 is a truly unique experience that never seems to get old. As you go for a drive down a curvy back road and start pushing it you can’t help but feel the nostalgia overtake you and are reminded of the racing pedigree this car holds. Costs involved, roughly $100 to train transmitter, and the transmitter itself, which can be $150 from dealer. If disabling the system is the goal, the module must be replaced and disabled at that time, if ever enabled, it cannot be reversed. 
Without a single fob, the system cannot train another fob or enter into training mode by the owner, the dealer must train at least the first replacement.
