2016-01-15 Yes the sku 50A55-843 is the suggested replacement for the 50A50-131. 2016-05-17 SupplyHouse Staff Does this replace the 50A55-120 in my Lennox-Aire Flo?

I have read both yes and no in different places! My existing board looks nothing like this but that doesn't mean it won't function the same way. Mine has WR printed on it, presumably White Rodgers.

On the label it says 50A55-120 Lennox and several other numbers. Usual story.my AC contractor wants $530 but is trying to talk me in to sinking that in to a new system instead.

Steve 2015-06-26 The replacement for the 50A55-120, 56L85. 2015-07-07 Supplyhouse Staff I just installed the 50a55-843 as a replacement for a 50a55-110. Problem was the circulator blower would not run and believed it to be the relay on the control board. Replacement fixed the circulator blower but now the outside unit will not run although was previously running fine.Instructions say there is a second wire from the Y terminal to be connected to the 24 VAC hot side of the compressor contactor.

I don't know how to make this connection as isn't the contactor on the outside unit? I assume this second connection isn't to a terminal on the control board. There is a dual fuel circuit board on the outside of the unit with colored wires from thermostat and to furnance and a set to the outside unit. If I connect the yellow wire to one of the outside unit terminals which one.yellow, white, red, start, etc.nothing here is labeled to the hot side of the compressor contactor.

I would appreciate any help Mark 2015-05-09 We do not have technicians on staff it would be best to contact White Rodgers tech support for those answers. 2015-05-11 Supplyhouse Staff Is this a direct replacement for Lennox 56L84 or 56L8401? Sorry to dredge up a SUPER old post, but I have a similar unit, with a somewhat similar problem. My furnace stopped working, so I popped off the cover and took a look around.

I noticed my 50E47-140 W-R had it's red light blinking, but I don't have the repair manual and I'm not entirely sure where to get it, so before calling anyone about it, I tried simply 'turning it off and turning it on again'. After the unit started up again, everything was fine. No blinky light and it went back to heating the house, but now, it will randomly stop heating again (still going, but not actually providing any heat) until I turn it on and off again. I'm more than likely going to give the wiring a test as was mentioned earlier, but I thought I'd ask here first and see if what I'm describing might indicate a faulty unit or faulty wiring before even going out and getting a volt meter or anything like that. I originally added this to: I apologize for posting on an old post, but thought perhaps I might get the attention of people who seemed knowledgeable about my situation without much hassle. So now I clutter your forum with it's own separate post. So, I go to give this a try, and the furnace is no longer working at all now.

Where, before it, would work after a reset, it now seems that the ignition sequence is not being completed. I see the flames in the burner chamber (? Forgive my lack of knowledge about my furnace, this is the first time I've every dealt with one personally), I hear some clicks, which I assume is the ignition sequence, and I feel a little bit of heat going through the ducts, but it quickly fades and it attempts the ignition sequence again. Flames in the lower chamber, and a couple clicks, a little heat, then nothing. I've turned and left the unit off now, and am thinking of just calling a repair man, but I wouldn't mind a) understanding a bit more about what's going on, and b) know if it's something I can personally fix, relatively easily. I'm unsure of the model furnace I have (GUA Series Deluxe Energy Saver Forced Draft Upflow Gas Fired Furnace is the majority of the information I have:P), but I've looked for some basic trouble shooting information, and wouldn't mind some advice from another human.
